Recorded at the band’s HQ studio in California and produced by Greg Fidelman alongside James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, the album blends modern heavy metal with the speed, groove, and aggression that built Metallica’s legacy. Across twelve tracks and more than 77 minutes of music, the record explores themes of childhood trauma, identity, and personal growth. The album received strong reviews and the title track won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2024.
