The Nothing is one of Korn’s most emotionally intense and critically acclaimed late‑era albums — a raw, grief‑stricken release shaped by Jonathan Davis’s personal tragedy during recording. Produced by Nick Raskulinecz, the album blends the band’s signature downtuned heaviness with atmospheric electronics, tortured vocal performances, and some of the most vulnerable lyrics of their career.
Featuring standout singles like “You’ll Never Find Me,” “Cold,” “Can You Hear Me,” and “Finally Free,” the record delivers a tight, cohesive 44‑minute journey through despair, catharsis, and sonic brutality.
A must‑have for collectors of modern nu metal and fans who appreciate Korn’s darker, more introspective side.
Why this is in the Crimson Vinyl Stock:
I must admit, I think I missed this for my own personal collection when it was first released. When I started Crimson and saw this in the suppliers stock list, I had to grab it, and to be honest, I am overjoyed it has joined the collection. This band continues to deliver. It is another harrowing listen, up there with their debut album, but it is explained by vocalist Johnathan's personal grief during recording following the death of his wife and mother. A quality album and one that makes me appreciate how harrowing life can be.
